Jeong-su is a master at the Hwa-too game(Korean poker). He travels from town to town gambling to survive. While gambling in a motel in Jeonju city, he meets Jae-hyang, a waitress. He brings Jae-hyang with him and they begin to live together. Jae-hyang who thought Jeong-su was a rich gambler is disappointed to learn that Jeong-su is a penniless nobody. Jeong-su meets Hong-seok, an old friend, who is putting together a big gambling ring. He convinces Jeong-su to join him claiming that it is a high stake and it is a good chance to make big bucks. Jeong-su joins Hong-seok despite his doubts to please Jae-hyang.
