(2008)
A killer docu-soap. This feature film starts as a fast moving, almost surreal, docu-soap set in a Salford car park. Legendary documentary filmmaker Randy Henry will take us inside the world of car parks. The three men who work there live in their own little world. One dreams of a distant future, another tries to recapture the certainties of a lost past, the third simply pretends he is not there at all, as they try and entertain themselves in the mundane present. Randy Henry's film crew, trying to make a docu-soap out of their activities, records their every move. Why is it that some of their best paying customers keep disappearing? Will they ever have the same Area Manager two weeks running? Will Steve Abbott ever manage the multi-storey at the Arndale? And will Frank ever get to eat his cheese and pickle sandwich? This is their life until one day they discover a secret so terrible, so dangerous that they may never park a car again, as long as they live. Written by anon
