Eye Was Blind, winner of "The Best Drama Feature Film Genre award" in the 2005 New York International Independent Film and Video Festival, shows the strength of many women in the world today through the main character, Armani. While Armani lie in a coma and blind, the answers to questions she has are revealed. Armani is able to see how she was attacked from the people who were closest to her. After the light reveals the truth and Armani can see all the malicious acts that were done to her, she continues to love her family as always. This strength lives within many women of the world today and is exhibited in various ways. Women bestow the gift of life on the earth everyday; Women raise children to become adults; Women continue to love wholeheartedly in spite of all the obstacles they face; and the list goes on.
