"Reflections" explores the concept that the significance of life is only revealed with death. And even upon death, the significance that man places on life is tainted with subjectivity and is often very different to the objective truth, which is often buried. This short film tackles this social issue subject by examining how people reflect on their own life immediately prior to death; how society reflects on that same life post death (through the funeral and eulogy); as compared to a more complete, objective view of what actually happened in that person's life. The film further highlights this theme by contrasting the lives and this reflective process for two completely different people and illustrates the irony of how their respective legacies do not always befit the person, or do they?
