An exotic pet store manager, whose a bumbling 'wanna-be' private eye, masquerades as a real private detective to help the poster pinup beauty, "Miss Power Tool", find her missing brother. Comedy ensues as they try to outwit Russian gangsters, the police and other strange characters.
