(2002)
All over Britain, classic vehicles, from tanks to vintage cars, and from boats to steamrollers, are rusting away in barns, back gardens and garages. The Salvage Squad takes on the challenge of restoring these vehicles in time to show them at a big event. While the Squad members tackle the hard, dirty and technically demanding restoration work, Lee Hurst & Graham 'Suggs' McPherson explores the history of the vehicles. He discovers what has happened to them and the people who used them over the course of their long lives, and finds out about the traditional skills that are needed to repair them. e86 Written by Paul Wallace
