In the 19th century the Austrian playwright Johann Nepomuk Nestroy adapts British and French plays for the theatres of Wien. Using ambiguous allusions he makes a fool of the Austrian police state. The first performance of his play "Lumpazivagabundus" causes his arrest by the secret police. Written by Mirko Thiessen
