On a dark, stormy night, on a hill outside of Houston back in the old west, a sheriff and his deputies corner a local gang of thugs. Suddenly, a time warp occurs and everyone is transported over 100 years into the future, to present day Houston. After some initial difficulties adjusting, they do what any group of cowboys would do when hurled over 100 years into a strange future: They start a detective agency. Trapped by a posse on Comanche burial grounds, the lawman and his old gang are ready to shoot each other to death when a lightning bolt strikes. Instead of killing them, it transports them to Houston in the year 1986. Using the ill-gotten gains of the bank robbery, now worth fifty times its original value, the time-tossed gunmen struggle to adapt in this new century. However, inner turmoil threaten to tear them apart until they band together to fight a common foe, a criminal of the modern age.
