Expanding on the basic concept of the popular "Trading Spaces" home improvement show, this reality series watches while two neighboring families completely redo one room in the other's homes, each with the help of its own interior decorator and the shared services of one carpenter. As with its predecessor, the task must be accomplished in only 2 days using a thousand dollars; instead of two-person homeowner teams, however, this version incorporates the entire family in the makeover process - including the kids. While initially borrowing some of the main show's talent, the "TS: Family" spinoff introduces new faces to its staff of designers and also features its own host and carpenter. e94 Written by Kay-22
