Paul Galesko is a famous photographer, he is married to Frances who is a nagging woman and a grumbler. Moreover he is in love with his assistant Lorna. So Paul decides to stage an abduction of his wife ended with her killing. Everything seems to go very well to Paul and the police accepts his version of the events. But Lt. Columbo has some doubt.
