Having graduated in marine biology, Christine goes on vacation. She decides to visit her Aunt Holly, a very rich woman who lives in a beautiful mansion. As soon as she arrived, she meets Jonathan Ashford, a glamorous and mysterious man. He tells her he's a reporter but actually he is looking for wrecks and underwater treasures. Holly tells Christine that, when she was young, she fell in love with a young man. They were sailing together when they casted away. Holly's father told her the young man died but, years later, she discovered he was still alive, married with children. As Aunt Holly never get married, she decides to bequeath her mansion and her undersea treasure to Christine. Thanks to Tim, her former love, Christine starts to locate the wreck.
