Swiss Army Pilot Philipp "Speedy" Scherres dies in an accident and comes back as an angel to help his widowed wife Anja to overcome the pain and loss of his death. Alphonse, another angel, accompanies Philipp and gives him the advice to have somebody "real" comfort her.
