A female reporter investigates the goings on of a criminal organisation on a South American island. She meets the local judge (James Brolin) and they fall in love. But things take a bad turn when the minister of justice, who's definitively got something to hide, has her kidnapped, drugged and put next to a corpse. Suddenly she's a murder suspect.
