After a brutal car accident along a coastal road, the amnesiac driver is pulled from the ocean by a weathered fisherman. With only a matchbook and wedding ring as evidence of his previous life, the amnesiac sets off in search of his identity. But his journey is frustrated by everyone on the island having something to hide.
