A fable about Generation X. When the flannel, grunge rock, dark beer, and cigarettes of Kirk's urban world collide with the minivans, boy band pop, and khakis of his old friends' new suburban life, something has to snap. Kirk finds himself at the center of a cultural shift that just might be part of a plan to destroy his generation. In addition to a new boy band called "Teen Spirit," everyone is obsessed with - and wants Kirk to take - X-GEN, a new drug that "helps people deal with reality."
