Vijay is a soldier in the Indian Armed Forces. He accompanies a group of medical personnel in strife-torn Jammu & Kashmir to assist people in need of medical aid. Once there, he meets with Gulrosh, a local resident, and both become fast friends. Things take a turn for the worse, when Gulrosh's sister is killed by Indian soldiers. Gulrosh takes a dislike to Vijay and the Indian army, and joins a band of jihaadi mujhaideen, who want Jammu & Kashmir to be separate from India. These rebels abduct Vikram, the son of a Sajanlal, an Indian MLA, and hold him until such time the Indian Government releases some of their colleagues held in Indian prisons.
