This film profiles the exploits of the heroes of Tulare, California, including two-time Olympic Gold Medalist Bob Mathias. It also focuses on the B-17 monument "Preston's Pride," which is dedicated to Gen. Maurice Preston, a Tulare native who became a Four-Star General, and to the 379th Bomber Group, who in 1945, won the "Grand Slam Award," for its outstanding achievements in WW2.
