"Leap Year Nightmare" is a documentary about at-risk teens shooting their first short film. Julie Alexander, a director at the Rhubard Theater, works with 11 teens to write, direct, and act out their short film. A professional film crew comes for one weekend to mentor the teens on being cast and crew for their film, and a documentary filmmaker captures it all on tape. Crew members continually switch hats to act as both cast and crew as tempers flare, personalities collide, and the clock ticks. Written by Jeremy Childs
