Mark, whose son drowned several months ago, begins a job as a pool attendant in an deserted indoor swimming pool. There he hopes to overcome the shadows of the past: the death of his son, the seperation from his wife and the end of his successful career. While being briefed by manager Mr.Fischer Mark is haunted by frightening premonitions. During the next three days, no guests show up at the pool. Surreal occurances torment Mark, who begins to lose his already tenuous peace of mind. While trying to solve the mysterious events, the borders between reality and illusion blur until a tragic climax unfolds between the dark spirit of the water and Marks tortured soul...
