"Golden Showers" sprays a melancholic mist over the Irish tragedy of CeCe Mavourneen, a lonely, good-hearted Orange County innocent who only tries to make the grade. This darkly original fable of obsession and sunlight was conceived during a sun stroke suffered by writer Ron Johnson and has been brought disturbingly to life by director Dusty DePree.
