Dr. Samir (Salman Khan) is a womanizer and a commitment phobe . He has thought out an easy way to get his girlfriends to dump him after he gets bored of them - he lies that he is already married . But when he actually falls for his new girlfriend Sonia (Katrina Kaif) , she demands that he should first arrange a meeting between his wife and her . So Samir asks Naina (Sushmita Sen) , the nurse in his clinic to pose as his wife before Sonia . However the situation becomes problematic when Samir's slap happy mother (Beena Kak) arrives .
