A dentist is threatened by a divorce, because his wife loves another man, and his father-in-law, who wants to collect his gambling debts. He decides to kill his wife's lover, and frame his wife for it, to get out of the situation. Columbo tries to solve the murder. Written by Maarten Hofman 323 A dentist who is a compulsive gambler and not a very good businessman, has been spunging off his wife and her father for years. Now his father-in-law, also a dentist, has had enough and is telling him in exchange for forgetting all of his debts, he wants him out of his office and his practice. And he is encouraging his daughter to dump him and she appears to be willing. He then tries to convince his wife to help him with her father but she reveals that there is someone else. He then pretends not to want to know who he is but in reality does. He then kills him and make it appear that his wife did it. And when he tries cover up her "crime" and tries to push her father to commit her, which he has done before, Columbo suspects that something's wrong with his attitude. e93 Written by
