In Rio de Janeiro, the wealth Dora (Monique Lafond) breaks her relationship with her boyfriend, the alienated and vagabond aspirant writer Daniel O碞eil (Evandro Mesquita), and leaves him. Without a place to live, he looks for shelter in the small apartment of his fat and lonely best friend Meg (Eliana Fonseca). When Daniel gets a free ride with Meg's neighbor Macula, the police chase the guy, who is a drug dealer, and Macula asks Daniel to hide two packs of cocaine for him. Daniel has an affair with Meg's friend Barbara (Marisa Orth), a complicated woman, and feels a great attraction for Barbara's aunt Raquel (S韑via Pfeifer).
