An agricultural engineer or "extensionist" (Palomo) arrives in a small town to make his compulsory social service. He intends to help the peasants but they don't want any help. The engineer discovers that the old "cacique" and the bank are robbing the peasants. He succeeds in making some agreements but finally his good intentions are treasoned... Written by Maximiliano Maza
