As an immigrant to America at the outset of WWII, a young German woman finds herself a target of persecution and growing hostility. Some members of her community go so far as to openly accuse her of being a Nazi spy or sympathizer. Even her newlywed husband, a US Army Air Corps Officer, begins to doubt her loyalty.
