Journalist Josephine Heatherington investigate;'s the death and life of the rev. H. Davidson, a vicar who was defrocked after taking in prostitutes. After being defrocked, the vicar preaches on the end of Brighton Pier, re-enacting scenes from the Bible. On acting 'Daniel; in the Lion's Den' he is eaten by a lion. Based on a true story. Written by Anonymous 1fe Lion's Mouth is "inspired by The rev. H. Davidson, the Rector of Stiffkey a.k.a. The Prostitutes Padre". A true story of a rector in the 1930´s who helped prostitutes but was defrocked for also helping himself to prostitutes. He preached from a barrel and ended up preaching to lions (Daniel and the lion) and being savaged to death.
