Guzman, a tyranical doctor in charge of a peripheral mental hospital, tries to disguise his incompetence by creating chaos in the institution, where, surrounded by other loonies, Max and Simon languish. One day a young and enthusiastic doctor, Gloria, comes to the hospital, determined to put things into their proper order.
