The 24-year-old amateur-boxer Nick, (_Paw Henriksen_ ) wants to get away from the grey suburbs where he shares an apartment with his childhood, and best friend Palle (_David Dencik_ ).The opportunity arises when he suddenly gets a chance to fight himself to a professional boxing contract in Hamburg, supported by his eager coach (_Erik Clausen_ ). But while he is training for the big fight, he discovers that Palle has serious problems; he owes money to the local gangsters. They threaten his life, because he cannot pay them back.
