Carly Grey (Danielle King) is well on her way to fulfilling her lifelong dreams of being a novelist after moving to New York City. But soon into her new journey, she finds herself lonely and longing for home. Jason Gilette (Thomas Andrew Misner) is also in New York finishing his first novel. Soon after the two cross paths, a secret affair ensues bringing the lovers to meet frequently at a New York City playground. But with his time in the city almost up, Gilette comes to Carly with a life-altering decision, asking her to go away with him. Now, Carly will choose between her lifelong dreams for success, and a man she barely knows. "The Playground" is the coming-of-age story about the choices one woman makes in pursuit of happiness. Through this journey, Carly Grey (Danielle King) will discover that she has a lot to learn, not only about the world around her, but also about herself.
