Julia Berger (Natalia Wörner) is the director of a publisher, and lives for her career. Then her ten-year-old nephew Stefan (Patrick Baehr) gets cancer. His mother Isabell (Julia Jäger) is unable to cope with the situation, and has a breakdown.
