8-year old girl Milja lives in North of Finland with her mother. After a long absence the father returns home. The family is full of hope for the new beginning. One day Milja returns home from school and finds her mother bleeding and bruised in the snow outside their home. Immediately Milja knows what's going on, her father has gone back to his old ways again, it's a familiar pattern in their lives, but this this time Milja has had enough. Written by Maria Lappalainen
