Thakur Vijay Singh and Savitri live in a village along with their son Ranjit and a servant Bajrangi. In the same village lives Shankar, one day Shankar saves Ganga from a goon of a nearby village and he falls for her. On the other hand, Thakur is upset due to his son Ranjit's waywardness. Thakur wishes his son to get married to Ganga. But due to a conflict during the marriage, Ganga prefers to walk out. She immediately weds Shankar. A humiliated Ranjit decides to get even with Ganga.
