In a Yorkshire village in 1917 - in the midst of WWI - with the local men off fighting for their country - the farms are being run by wives and daughters experiencing their first taste of freedom and responsibility. When German Prisoners of War are sent in to do the heavy labor, the women find themselves unexpectedly drawn to the POW's and engage in illicit affairs. Written by Anonymous
