Tough policier about a straight, but maverick cop who does not believe in bending over, no matter what. He encourages his wife to become a lawyer and tutors her at home, while helping with the chores, and she does achieve that goal. Somewhat like an Indian version of 'Dirty Harry', this is virtually a one-man show by Nana Patekar. Written by ajmal hussain Plainclothes Police Inspector Yeshwant is a daring, diligent, and honest young man. He is married to an illiterate young woman, Ragini. He wants to educate her so she can become an I.A.S (Deputy Collector). One day while on plainclothes duty,as a singing beggar, on a stakeout, Yeshwant apprehends and arrests Salim,a drug dealer. Salim is tried in court, and sentenced to prison. Two years later, while Yeshwant is sending off his wife off to her examinations,Salim is planning his revenge, in such a way that Yeshwant will regret ever arresting him.
