(1999)
Three apartments in an old converted Loft building set up the stage for three bizarre love triangles. A mysterious man (Bastián Bodenhöfer), parks in front of the building and silently smokes a cigarette while watching what happens in the three floors. Recently arrived in the country, Nico (Eric Michael Cole), enjoys his older brother's top floor loft, while he is away on a business trip. Later on that night, his brother's girlfriend (Lorene Prieto), shows up, a little drunk. She gets into bed, confuses Nico with her boyfriend, and makes love with him. Downstairs, on her second floor loft, Helena (Elizabeth Berkley), prepares for a romantic dinner with her lover, who never shows up. Instead, Miguel (Bastián Bodenhöfer), decides to get into her apartment. He gets control of her life, for a night, and as hours pass by, they start to fall into bizarre conversations and perverted games. In the unfinished basement of the building, three expatriates are waiting for the phone to ring. A chilean contact is supposed to call them in order to carry out a dirty job in the northern desert. Bored of waiting, Xuave (Peter Coyote), the leader of the group, decides to go for a walk in search for a bar, leaving his girlfriend Connie (Elizabeth Rossa) and Curtis (Garret Dillahunt) behind, to answer that last call. e80 Written by Roos Film
