The story unfolds in a small town hotel where Harold, the owner of the Friendship hotel for over three decades welcome his new out of town guest, without expecting that the next week of his life would change him drastically. Jesse on an ill researched quest to right a wrong, stumbles into the hotel to walk away with a lot more than he had imagined. Vivian on an attempt to escape an abusive relationship has a little car trouble and lands her right where she never thought she would be!
