剧情：　　东尼葛柯萨是一名义大利俱乐部的歌手，他崇拜法兰克辛纳屈，最大的梦想是希望能在纽约一举成名。在追求成名的过程中，他与当地黑帮交往以换得金钱与权力的支援。但是要成名是有代价的，在他沉溺于黑帮带来的光环迷失了自我时，也同时背叛了真正关心自己的人，包括最好的死党与女友艾琳。
剧情：　　　　多萝茜（苏珊·林奇）和男友托尼（伊安·格伦）刚刚参加完他叔叔的葬礼，坐在回去的火车上，心情恶劣的托尼不停地职责多萝茜弄丢了他高尔夫俱乐部的会员证，尽管多萝茜一再辩解自己压根就没见过那个什么见鬼的会员证，但是托尼根本不加理会，还气急败坏地打了多萝茜，最后干脆跳下车不见踪影。 　　委屈的多萝茜独自回到了公寓，这才发现房间已经被托尼弄的乱七八糟，这个混蛋还为了撒气把多萝茜的小狗吊在阳台外面，幸亏解救及时，小狗才算捞回一条命，但是多萝茜已经受够了，她收拾好东西离开了这个让她伤心不已的地方。就在她等公车的时候，无意间撞见了醉鬼布瑞恩正毒打他的女朋友柏图拉（瑞切尔·薇兹，气头上的多萝茜顺手抄起一根棍子狠狠地打昏了布瑞恩。 　　事后，怯懦的柏图拉吓得六神无主，还是多萝茜果断地帮她把布瑞恩拖回家里，两个女孩把这个醉鬼扔到澡盆里等他自己清醒过来，直到这会儿，多萝茜和柏图拉才有机会作个自我介绍，就在她们聊的投机时，浴室里传出物体倒地的声响，她们这才发现，布瑞恩摔倒在地上死了。这下连多萝茜也慌了神，只好先叫柏图拉说她的男朋友失踪了，然后再从长计议。 　　第二天，布瑞恩的哥哥，也就是柏图拉的老板罗尼去警察局报案说弟弟失踪了，多萝茜也让柏图拉去报案，声称布瑞恩被绑架并索要一百万英镑的赎金。侦探赫本（亚历克斯·诺顿）负责这个案子，他头一个就来到了柏图拉的家里调查，没想到却对美丽的柏图拉一见倾心，但是神色慌张的柏图拉也引起了赫本的怀疑，但是这位侦探却另有图谋…… 　　事情已经被闹的越来越复杂了，除了要应付罗尼和赫本之外，两个女孩还必须想方设法打发掉不知又从哪儿冒出来的托尼，她们要如何收场才能保证全身而退呢？对了，还要确保拿到那一百万英镑开始她们的新生活。

剧情：　　The Match is a contemporary romantic comedy, set in the idyllic Highland village of Inverdoune. Wullie Smith, still carrying the physical and emotional scars of the childhood death of his younger brother, is the village milkman. A young man whose potential is concealed his gently diffident exterior, Wullie is locally known for his remarkable T.F.R. (Total Football Recall) and for his not-very-secret love for Rosemary Bailey, the breathtaking daughter of Bill Bailey, a local farmer with a curious affection for his cows. Rosemary has returned briefly to her home with a college degree before she leaves again to pursue a career in the big city. The single-street village has only two pubs - the ramshackle delights of Benny's Bar, spiritual home of its charmingly eccentric clientele and the sterile modernity of Le Bistro, owned by former professional footballer and preening narcissist, George Gus. But Benny's Bar may soon be lost forever. A bet made to settle a feud between the original owners of Benny's Bar and Le Bistro was made long before anyone living in the village today can remember. The ancestral feud is to be finally resolved by the result of the annual football (soccer) contest between the two bars in this hundredth year of the contest. Past form indicates poor prospects for the Benny's Bar team which has lost for 99 years in a row. But it is only the result of this, the hundredth game, which will determine which bar is to be closed forever by the winning side.
