还有两天，Ben就要到乔治亚州与未婚妻Bridget完婚。但Ben的计划自从上飞机的时候遇到了Sarah就泡了汤。先是飞鸟卷进引擎而使飞机无法起飞，Ben又恰好救起了被撞晕的Sarah；接着Ben乘坐的各种交通工具遇上了各种天灾人祸，甚至被误会拘留入狱，看着时间一份一秒流过，Ben干着急的同时渐渐与Sarah产生了感觉……Bridget正在焦急地等待着Ben，而她的前男友Steve却想趁这个空当乘虚而入。Bridget的父亲对此倒是乐见其成，因为他向来认为Steve比Ben更像一位成功人士……究竟Ben应该能否赶上婚礼，他又如何在这两个女人之间做出抉择呢……
