黄卓汉，（1920. 1.25 - 2004. 10.8）著名电影工作者、制片家。1920年1月25日出生，广东潮州人。广州国民大学法律系毕业，抗战胜利后任南京、益世报，副总编辑兼采访部主任。1949年到香港。1952年创建岭光影业公司和自由影业公司，分别拍摄粤语片和国语片。1967年创建第一影业机构有限公司（香港注册。台湾拍片。70年代发展成港、台地区的第四大电影机构）。黄卓汉身兼制片、编剧、导演、摄影、剪辑诸职，有“十顶全能”之称，挖掘出了罗兰、林翠等著名影星。1993年获台湾金马奖终身成就奖。2004年10月8日逝世。
