Bryce Johnson was born on April 18, 1977, and raised in Sioux City, Iowa, where he lived with his mother and two brothers. For a short time his family lived in Denver, Colorado, during his high school years, which is where his dream to become an actor came to life. Similar to his character on Popular (1999), Johnson was the captain of the varsity soccer team and co-captain of the school's golf team.
