Born in Lethbridge, Alberta, Chad left the prairie life and headed to Vancouver straight out of High School to pursue his acting career and make a name for himself in the film scene. Shortly after the move however, he was selected as a "New Face" Model and immediately landed various modeling campaigns for such companies as Ibiza Hippie, Jean Paul Gaultier, Escada, Gucci and Swiss Army. Although the modeling world continued to offer multiple opportunities for Chad to venture down, acting was what he really wanted and soon relocated back to Western Canada.
