Doc Shaw was born to Larry and Tamie Shaw, being an only child. His grandparents noticed he had a special gift and gave him the nickname, Doc. Doc's dad got him into a modeling career. He moved through the industry fast, and has appeared in many print ads. A car accident took his father's life in 1994. He wanted to continue his career, so he asked his mom to find him a agent. At the age of 6, he was booked in many commercials. His big break came when he got the role, "Malik Payne", in Tyler Perry's House of Payne (2006). Then, he went on to star as "Marcus Little" in Disney's hit TV series, The Suite Life on Deck (2008). He ended his role on "Suite Life" to work on his new show, Pair of Kings (2010).
