Meet Felix; a happy, go-lucky paletero who loves his job. Felix takes pride in the fact that he brings pleasure to the neighborhood kids. Until one day, when a rival paletero invades Felix's territory, the loyal customers turn toward Miguel and his cool attitude, and leave old-fashioned Felix behind. Determined to win back the children from the ruthless Miguel, Felix will stop at nothing during his epic campaign. The struggle over the rights to sell ice cream in the neighborhood carries on, as prank after prank is carried out. Hijinks abound, culminating in a old fashioned showdown that you have to see to believe. In the tradition of epic westerns and action films, El Paletero is a stylistic comedy for everyone.
