剧情:Joe Callahan marries Paula in her native Cambodia. One day they walk right in the middle of a battlefield. Paula is seriously wounded. Thinking she's going to die, Joe has no choice. He reluctantly leaves her motionless body behind. Joe returns to his home in the United States. It's a long arduous stage to healing. He later meets Helen and falls in love with her.
