Rich and wealthy Amar Ranawat wants to lead his own way of life, instead of following in his dad's, an industrialist, footsteps. Amar meets with Lekha Khorzuvekar, and both fall in love with each other. They want to get married, and Lekha asks him to accompany her, so that she can introduce him to her dad, Ulhas. Amar and Ulhas meet each other and get along very well. It is then that Amar gets tragic news that will change his life forever.
